Project Idea

From an Idea to a Communication Experience

We introduce the general types of radio interference and describe how they canbe identified then filtered using various methods. The research will then move inally presenting the most suitable type of filtering that can be applied to on to the implementation of a low noise amplifier on the radio telescope, and fthe radio telescope. The theory behind electromagnetic waves and how they radiate, is occupying a rather big part of this paper, as it is essential in understanding how radio telescopes function. Examples and an explanation of radio signals and noise is included to bring even more clarity on the subject .

01

The Beginning

How Did the Idea Begin?

The idea started by studying the effects of Radio Interference and Noise on Radio Telescope performance and exploring suitable methods to identify and reduce them.

02

The Idea

What Does the Project Offer?

The project provides a study of Radio Interference types and suitable Filtering methods, along with the implementation of an LNA to improve signal reception.

03

The Experience

From Concept to Prototype

We started by studying Electromagnetic Waves, Radio Signals, and Noise. Then, we identified types of Interference and filtering methods, followed by implementing an LNA and selecting the most suitable Filtering Method for the Radio Telescope.
