About the Initiative
A distinctive knowledge hub
for space science and communications
“Noura Beacon” represents an exceptional educational and research initiative led by the College of Engineering at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University, in a pioneering strategic partnership with the Saudi Amateur Radio Association.
The Beacon spans an area of more than 3,000 square meters, designed around the concept of “space colonies” to provide an integrated scientific environment that combines academic education with live field applications, aligned with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 to empower national talent in space and advanced technology fields.

The Strategic Partner
The Saudi Amateur Radio Association is an official association established in 2018 by His Highness Prince Badr bin Fahd Al Saud. It aims to support and regulate amateur radio as a hobby in the Kingdom. The association is the primary partner of the Amateur Radio Club at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University.
